Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Evening Shift | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for individual patients or assigned patient groups in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff within the Emergency Room setting
• Coordinate patient care with other clinical disciplines to ensure comprehensive, multidisciplinary treatment
• Apply critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment in all aspects of patient care and staff supervision

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• EPIC experience within the last 12 months and recent Cerner experience required; charting system must be documented for each work history entry
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior acute care facility experience
