and the job listing Expires on August 13, 2026 Internship Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics & Finance Responsibilities: Perform compliance audits to ensure accurate contributions are paid to labor union benefit plans. Maintain a high level of understanding of Employer-Union Benefit obligations under various collective bargaining agreements. Perform audits either remotely using email and IT tools or at employers’ locations, including potential travel outside the tri-state area. Compare payroll data and documentation to employee benefit plan data and reports to confirm correct contributions. Work directly with personnel at employers and employee benefit plans, maintaining a professional level of communication, often with technical topics. Prepare detailed analyses in MS Excel for exceptions identified, communicate them to appropriate representatives and address and resolve explanations and responses. Prepare detailed reports using MS Excel and MS Word. Maintain professional demeanor and work proficiency. Qualifications: Associates Degree in Accounting or similar is required, Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar studies is preferred. One year experience with payroll and accounting is required. Experience with payroll auditing is a plus. Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills, including expertise with Microsoft Excel and Word and IT proficiency. Prioritization, time management, and initiative are key skills required for this role. Company Profile and Working Conditions Daniel A. Because we are located outside of the city limits of Philadelphia, our employees who work in our offices are not subject to the City of Philadelphia Wage Tax when work is performed in our offices.
