Civil Project Engineer
Location: El Segundo or Irvine, CA
Job Type: Full-time
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our fast-growing Civil Engineering team in El Segundo or Irvine, CA. The position will assist with grading, hydrology and hydraulic studies and analysis, utility design and studies, as well as drainage and storm water treatment design on private, commercial, institutional, and residential land development projects. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of similar experience.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
EIT required
1+ years of relevant experience in civil land development design including plan production, utility design and analysis, hydrology and hydraulic analysis, storm water quality design, etc.
Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Experience with the permitting process with local jurisdictions in the LA County area
Ability to develop civil engineering plans and perform engineering calculations as required for the permitting of the civil engineering scope
Civil land development design experience site development projects that includes grading, drainage, utilities, site layout, due diligence and permitting
Excellent communication skills as well as time management and organizational skills
Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines and project demands
