Learn more at and our family of companies is seeking a talented and motivated Lead Technician to join our integration business unit.Primary Responsibilities:Install headend equipment, all field devices and basic programming for a variety of Nurse Call, RTLS, Fire Alarm and Security. Layout the system and install the cable as well as testing connectors, labeling and firestop. Assure that the equipment provides the service requested by the customer, completing the work order showing the work is completed, ensuring the documentation and database is updatedCoordinate and oversees contracted work with the contractor, providing specific instructions and or help on projects, inspecting completed work for acceptance and compliance with CTSI standards, and ensuring that the network documentation is updatedAnalyze and layout blueprints, schematics, and drawings of CTSI systems for the purpose of determining the efficient installation of new or upgraded systemsProvide technical expertise for installation, repair, and serviceInform Project Manager regarding procedures and or status of work orders for the purpose of providing information for making decisions, taking appropriate action and or complying with company policies and building codesCoordinate and supervise the work of the Installers. Ensures that projects are completed within local, state, federal codes, regulations and specificationsParticipates in approved job-related training and development programs. Participates in equipment training and receives certification, and operates equipment as neededMaintains assigned vehicles and equipment in excellent condition. Ensures availability of items required to complete the necessary installation and or repairResponds to service calls during normal workday hours and also after hours. Addresses immediate safety concernsUse existing site certifications to track, document, and resolve technical problemsEnsure safety procedures are followed at all timesUpdates & maintains documentation (Time Web, daily worksheets & all other paperwork)Establishes effective working relationships with those contacted during the course of work, and communicate clearly, and effectively both orally and in writingManages multiple priorities and deadlines and works effectively with minimum supervisionEnsure quality control for assigned taskClean up work area dailyBasic Qualifications:High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or two years related experience or training on manufacturer systems installations; or equivalent combination of education and experience5+ years' experience within the fire alarm industryDriver's license with clean driving recordPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Fire Alarm and Nurse CallSecurity CertificationDisclaimer: This job description should not be construed to imply that these requirements are the exclusive standards of the position.
