The consultant will design and develop services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices on AWS. The role requires strong understanding of non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, maintainability, and security. We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance. - Design and develop cloud-native services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
- Implement microservices on AWS with attention to reliability and scalability.
- Develop integrations and web services using SOAP and REST.
- Build data access layers using ORM frameworks such as Hibernate or MyBatis.
- Contribute to UI interactions leveraging jQuery as needed.
- Apply design patterns and object-oriented principles.
- Optimize applications for performance, security, and maintainability.
Experience Requirements:
- 8+ years of Java/J2EE with strong object-oriented design and design patterns.
- Hands-on Spring 3.x and Spring Boot with microservices.
- Strong AWS experience.
- Experience with ORM frameworks (Hibernate, MyBatis).
- Proficiency with SQL and relational databases such as DB2.
- Experience building SOAP and RESTful web services.
- Understanding of non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, maintainability, and security.
- jQuery experience for front-end interactions.
- Integration tool experience is a plus.
- Excellent design skills.
