MANUAL LATHE MACHINIST

Machining, fabrication, and assembly shop that services many industries including power, paper, steel, and OEM. We are seeking a machinist for our facility with the ability to run CNC as well as manual machines. The position provides an opportunity to work with a variety of components and materials and provides a key role in the companys ability to successfully meet customer cost, quality, and delivery expectations. MUST HAVE MANUAL LATHE EXPERIENCE Requires 5+ years of experience Responsibilities: Run jobs on the machine tools as required Coordinate jobs with other departments Complete daily time tickets Be able to move from one work station to another as required Coordinate tooling with supervisors Perform all other duties assigned or requested by the shop supervisors Maintain a safe, clean work environment Perform machining with high quality Represent Client at all times Help instill safety and positive practices and attitudes Occasional work in other departments of company Enforce company policy and safety manual Be willing to be flexible in work schedule and possible overtime Qualifications: Knowledge in mechanical design Excellent individual communication skills Ability to continue learning on new machines Problem-solving skills. Decision-making abilities. Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment. Attention to detail.
