Customer Service Supervisor

Job Overview This position is one of the most important functions of the clinic. The front desk is the first point where contact is made personally or via telephone. The person will perform routine but varied duties in accordance with the standard procedures of the department. The CSR Supervisor shall apply knowledge of department policies and procedures in order to maintain accuracy and efficiency at the front desk. This person will also observe and supervise the Customer Service Representatives to ensure the proper policies, procedures, and scripting are being followed. As CSR Supervisor, this person will assist in maintaining and organizing training throughout the department. Must have a typing speed of no less than 50 wpm. Responsibilities Perform routine but varied duties in accordance with the standard procedures of the department. Observe and supervise Customer Service Representatives to ensure proper policies, procedures, and scripting are being followed. Assist in maintaining and organizing training throughout the department. Assist with CSR schedule. Assist with chart audits. Communicate departmental changes to CSR Leads; ensure changes are implemented. Screen resumes. Cover front‑desk needs as needed, including as a floater. Assist with routine site visits and report deficiencies. Assist with opening new clinics as needed. Qualifications Typing speed of at least 50 words per minute. Education None required. Experience 3–5 years medical office customer service (required). 1 year supervisory experience (preferred). License & Certification None required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
