Senior Clinical Scientist - Nuclear Medicine

Job Description Summary Position in GE Healthcare's MIM Software business that develops vendor‑neutral imaging software to standardize workflow in complex clinical scenarios. Global healthcare organizations use MIM® to provide precise, personalized care. What You'll Do Perform activities supporting the clinical research and development of imaging products, drug products, and diagnostics; determine safety and effectiveness of medications, devices, diagnostics, and treatments. Collaborate closely with MIM product teams, identify unmet clinical and technical needs with external collaborators, and generate clinical evidence. Work with physicians, scientists, and key opinion leaders to gain deep understanding of Nuclear Medicine and innovation needs; propose and prioritize collaborative research activities in support of strategic initiatives. Support collaborative academic and clinical partners in clinical research, emphasizing key academic and clinical sites in Nuclear Medicine. Seek out, develop, and maintain academic partners; understand their strengths and collaboration interests; solicit investigator‑initiated research proposals with collaborators and product teams. What You'll Need Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required; Master's/PhD preferred but not required. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of six years of experience in a clinical, academic, or research setting may be considered. Clinical domain expertise in Nuclear Medicine research and study design is preferred but not required. Experience and familiarity with clinical and anatomical knowledge bases, clinical environments, and research collaborations. Proficient programming and/or algorithmic development experience preferred but not required. Strong problem‑solving, analytical abilities, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate with clinical professionals and multidisciplinary internal teams. Willingness to travel periodically to attend medical conferences. Desired Characteristics Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to analyze and resolve problems; documentation, planning, marketing, and execution of programs; project management experience.
