Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem MRI Tech for the Radiology Unit at Newton Medical Center. The shifts vary as needed.

Essential Job Functions:

The candidate selected for this position will:

• Promote a culture of healing, while accurately interpreting and performing all MRI imaging protocols
• Practice in accordance with state, federal and professional standards
• Demonstrate knowledge of MR imaging equipment; including set-up, utilization, basic troubleshooting and proper care for all equipment
• Abide by strict MR Safety standards and evaluate MR scans for technical quality
• Use EPIC and PACS to manage patient workflow and transmit images for interpretation
• Be competent with IV skills and preparing/administering contrast media

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Completion of a 24-month AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology required
• License/Certifications: ARRT Certified, BLS/CPR certification, IV Certification preferred
• Relevant Experience: 2 years MRI Experience, Siemens preferred
