Customer Service Representative
As a Customer Service Representative with Aleman Insurance and Financial Services, Inc., (State Farm) you will generate the kind of exceptional customer experiences that reinforce the growth of a successful insurance agency. Your attention to detail, customer service skills, and desire to help people make you a fit. You will enhance your career while resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with other agency team members, and anticipating the needs of the community members you support. We look forward to connecting with you if you are the customer-focused and empathetic team member we are searching for. We anticipate internal growth opportunities for especially driven and sales-minded candidates.
Benefits include 401(k), paid time off, and training & development.
Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Answer customer inquiries and provide policy information.
- Assist customers with policy changes and updates.
- Answer questions related to claims and direct policyholder to central claims
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
- Provide quotes for auto and life insurance - sale of State Farm products
- Assist clients with inquiries related to billing
Qualifications
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Must be able to pass Property and Casualty License training and exam
- Must be able to pass Life and Health License training and exam
- Agent will pay for all training classes and exams including paid hours to complete courses online along with exams
- Bilingual - Spanish a plus including and or other language skills
- Good basic math skills a must
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Desire to pivot to sales while providing customer service
