TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Albuquerque, New Mexico, 87106!

Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: ER Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years (minimum) License: NM license can pend at the time of submission Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC (TNCC must be obtained prior to submission) Must-Have: - Level 1 trauma experience preferred - 2+ years of Level 1 experience considered Description: Travelers should expect their assignments will consist primarily of admitted patients. Approximately 60% to 80% of the Emergency Department consists of admitted patients. Many of the Emergency Department rooms are designated for holding admitted patients. Medication administration must include IV medication via the seven medication rights. Clinical findings must be documented and communicated effectively. Traveler is expected to work weekends as needed. Weekend coverage comprises Saturday and Sunday days, and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. No locals are accepted within a 100-mile radius. There is no on-call requirement. Floating to Adult PCUs is expected based on staffing needs. ED holds and trauma floating may occur as well. Weekend Day Ratios equate to 5 patients per nurse. Nursing professionals must meet facility needs as staffing requires. Travel experience is strongly preferred. First-time travelers are accepted contingent upon meeting experience requirements. COVID vaccine reporting is required, but the vaccine is optional. Flu vaccine is mandatory with possible medical/religious exemptions. Pre-approved time off greater than 7 days needs approval. Travelers must complete compliance documentation prior to starting. Travelers may work either 36 or 48 hours weekly based on contract stipulations. All staff will utilize bar code medication scanning as a standard practice. Module completion is necessary and may incur time constraints. No marketing submissions are permitted. There is a requirement for a 6-month break after one year or four consecutive assignments.
