Warehouse Associate - Plant City, FL

Location: Plant City, FL
Pay: $17.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM or until work is completed
Overtime: Some overtime may be required or mandated during busy periods

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Plant City!

We are looking for a dependable, safety-minded Warehouse Associate to assist the shipping team with processing and preparing customer orders. This is a hands-on warehouse position that requires attention to detail, reliability, and the flexibility to work until daily tasks are completed.

Job Duties

Assist the shipping team with processing orders
Perform quality control checks
Pack, wrap, and strap products for shipment
Label products and completed orders accurately
Process orders using a computer
Use an iPad to take and upload photos
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow instructions and established procedures
Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without restrictions
Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift, excluding breaks
Basic computer skills for processing orders
Comfortable using an iPad to take and upload photos
Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team
Willingness to work until all assigned tasks are completed
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English without an interpreter
Bilingual candidates are welcome
Forklift experience is not required , but candidates must be willing to learn if needed; training is provided on-site
Must maintain a safety-first mindset at all times

PPE / Safety Requirements

Safety vest must be worn at all times in the warehouse - provided by the company
ASTM 2413-05 approved safety-toe shoes are required and are not provided
Safety shoes must have:
- Steel or composite toe construction
- Minimum 4-inch upper to adequately cover the ankle area
- Puncture-resistant soles
- Slip-resistant soles
