To elaborate a bit further; when a customer has a tire related failure, a Technician is dispatched to the customer's location to repair or change the tire. This means that a Technician is expected to be roadside when performing their job duties. Shift Information: There is a mandatory on-call rotation. During a Technicians' on-call period, they are expected to run after-hours service calls at a 95% Accept rate , which includes weekends and nights. Time worked in after-hours service calls are paid in double-time with a minimum of 2 hours per call!! An example being if a Technicians accepts, arrives, and completes a call in 45min they will receive an additional 1 hr. 15 min of double time*** pay. Servicing Commercial Tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire. Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary. Inflating of tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements. Complying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements including; how wear proper PPE, use tire cages, and follow all other safety policies and procedures.
