Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with ICU experience for a night shift position with float responsibilities across multiple hospital locations.

Details

• Hospital-based respiratory therapy unit with float responsibilities across Methodist, University, Fishers, and Morgan affiliate locations
• Night shift schedule: 7p–7:30a
• Schedule is 3x12 or 4x12 shifts per week
• Every other weekend is required
• Cerner charting experience required

Requirements

• Current RRT credential issued by the NBRC
• Active Indiana or Compact respiratory therapy license (license required if applicable)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA and RQI accepted)
• Minimum 18 months of recent ICU experience (2 years total preferred)
• Respiratory therapy education must be accredited through CoARC and regionally accredited through CHEA
• 2 supervisor references required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Indiana residents are considered local candidates; local candidates are accepted at a modified pay package for Allied positions
• Any current or former permanent or PRN employee of IU Health must have a 12-month separation period before applying as a traveler
• Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within IU Health are required to take a consecutive break to reset eligibility: out-of-state residents require a 90-day break and in-state residents require a 180-day break
• Up to 5 days of RTO may be auto-approved
• Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
