Commercial Account Manager - Remote

Our client, a highly respected Indianapolis based insurance broker is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Account Manager to join their growing team. About the Role In this role, you will be responsible for managing client accounts, delivering exceptional service, and supporting the full policy lifecycle—including quoting, renewals, endorsements, and claims assistance. Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of personal and/or commercial insurance accounts Prepare and present quotes for new and existing clients Process renewals, ensuring accuracy and retention of business Handle policy changes, endorsements, and coverage updates Provide support throughout the claims process, acting as a client advocate Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide coverage recommendations Maintain accurate client records and documentation in agency systems Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and clients Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell additional coverage Qualifications Previous experience in insurance account management, customer service, or related field Active insurance license (or willingness to obtain) Required Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in agency management systems and Microsoft Office Solution-oriented mindset with a focus on client satisfaction Team player with a proactive, positive attitude Preferred Skills None specified.
