Job Description Job Description Job Title: Mechanical Installer / Technician – Industrial & Heavy Commercial (Hands-On Field Role Duties) CDMtek Mechanical, LLC Austin Full-Time | Competitive Pay Overtime | BenefitsAbout the Role We are a growing mechanical contractor specializing in industrial and heavy commercial HVAC projects. We already have strong Project Managers and office support in place, so we’re looking for experienced, hands-on installers/technicians who love working in the field and getting the job done right. This is a boots-on-the-ground position ability to perform the essential physical demands of the position, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in various conditions. CDMtek performs a variety of construction services where each project and even daily tasks will differ in a wide variety of skillsets, offering the oppurtunity to learn new skillsets and grow while enhancing job satisfaction. You will be installing, rigging, and construction large-scale HVAC systems alongside very skilled and capable professionals. We need capable people who can be managed effectively but don’t need to manage others. What You’ll Be Doing Installing chillers, boilers, large air handlers, pumps, VFDs, and hydronic systems Installing ductwork Piping threaded, grooved, welded, brazed, Associated utilities, ancillary required construction in general trades Working on both new construction and retrofit/upgrade projects Rigging and setting heavy equipment Troubleshooting and solving problems as they arise in the field Helping keep projects on schedule alongside our PMs What We’re Looking For 4 years of hands-on installation experience in heavy commercial/industrial HVAC Skills in metal air side ducting, pipefitting, brazing, rigging, and layout Ability to read and work from mechanical drawings Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and pride in quality work Ability to work well with a team, take direction and get the job done Safety conscious, observing safety and jobsie rules Manlift, scissor, boom, fork expericence What We Offer Competitive hourly pay overtime Health insurance Paid time off Year-round work with a variety of challenging projects Growth opportunities in a growing company Supportive team with strong PM and management backing How to Apply If you’re a skilled HVAC installer who wants to focus on the hands-on work, send your resume and a brief note about your experience to: View email address on click.appcast.io Please include “Mechanical Installer” in the subject line.
