Your future role at a glance Location: Signal Mountain, TN Facility: Alexian Village Department: Spiritual Care Schedule: Day Shift, Part-time, 20-25 hours a week #LI-JM2 How you'll make an impact in this role Provide pastoral care to the local ministry and community through performing sacraments, rituals, blessings and liturgies. Participate and collaborate with others in the delivery of holistic patient care. Build and maintain relationships with patients, families and associates through regular visitations and communication in order to create spiritual and religious connections. Mentor Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) students and fellows. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Board Certification from the APC, NACC, CASC, or the NAJC at time of hire or job transfer (or obtained within two years of hire or job transfer; risking termination if not obtained within timeframe) is required. For those not board certified at time of hire or job transfer, ecclesiastical endorsement is required. Education: Master's Degree in Divinity, Theology, or a related field from an accredited school is required. 4 units of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by the ACPE is required. Work Experience: 3-5 years of healthcare experience as a chaplain is preferred.
