TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Utica, New York, 13502!

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse / Medical-Surgical Stroke Stepdown – New York

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Upstate New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, 48 hours per week. Floating to other units as needed. Block scheduling requests considered but not guaranteed.

Highlights:

• 64-bed medical-surgical stroke stepdown unit serving adult patient population
• Diverse case mix including stroke, altered mental status, renal/dialysis, COPD, CHF, isolation protocols, general medical-surgical, pneumonia, and pulmonary conditions
• Experience with specialty equipment including IV pumps, NG tubes, and feeding tubes
• EPIC electronic medical record system in use
• Travel nursing assignment with flexible time-off planning available at submission
• Local and travel candidates considered

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license required (verified through NURSYS)
• Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical experience with stroke stepdown background
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required (may be obtained prior to start date)
• Demonstrated EPIC EMR experience
• Valid driver's license with current address
• Completed skills checklist matching specialty
