THE ROLE WE NEED 5 Stones is seeking a Marketing Strategist who will operate as a key voice within our Agency in helping build marketing plans to drive results on behalf of our clients. As a strategic thinker and executor, this role includes being involved in the early phases of client collaboration to build a winsome plan based on the client’s goals, and then journeying through the process of execution to ensure our digital, brand, and technical efforts meet the needs of our clients. The Marketing Strategist is responsible for consultation, ideation, and execution of marketing efforts across the full lifecycle of client projects. Because we are a small and agile team, this role requires creative adaptability and comfort in the not-perfectly-clear. While we can’t script what each day holds, we are certain that this team member will be asked to… Consult with clients and assist in the facilitation of in-person or virtual strategic sessions in order to build trust and design marketing strategies on behalf of our clients Lead the process of writing marketing plans on behalf of our clients, making sure we are able to effectively utilize their marketing budget to meet their desired results Consult on and propose efforts for our team to assist clients with: Content Development Paid advertising Email marketing Social media Website Enhancements SEO and GEO Analytics and tracking Brand creation and/or updating And any other channels or initiatives that are necessary to meet the client’s goals Present to clients early in client relationships and in an ongoing way, as we support the client Journey with clients in an ongoing way to consult on, review internally, propose, and create marketing content and strategies across all channels, working closely with the rest of the Agency team and often in collaboration with other marketers Be a key voice in helping research and develop new opportunities for 5 Stones clients and internal brands to reach their audience using digital marketing efforts and emerging channels Support the various senior members of the agency in identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency in our service offerings Collaborate with senior agency leadership in key moments of the sales cycle, when requested, to help support the process of finding new clients Assist in and actually execute marketing tasks across all channels for our clients, including any work on the channels listed above THE PERSON WE NEED The right candidate for the Marketing Strategist position will be… A clear, energetic, and empathetic communicator capable of building strong relationships with our clients and with colleagues A data-driven, creative marketer who is passionate about communicating on behalf of brands and helping move potential customers to take action Passionate about the Catholic faith, with a deep desire to help people come to know Jesus and his Church Comfortable managing numerous projects and tasks at once Able to navigate marketing solutions and various platforms on behalf of clients Comfortable handling difficult conversations and pushing a team to align around an initiative in order to drive a specific result Committed to ongoing personal and professional growth A strong leader able to facilitate meetings and galvanize a team to align around a specific goal and move to meet our clients’ objectives Humble and aware of their deep goodness and dignity as a beloved child of God And the right candidate will have… 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a specific emphasis in strategic and consultative marketing work An ability to balance quality, time, and budget to produce the best possible work on every project Diligence, attention to detail, and a drive to work hard in order to serve our clients and the Kingdom of God well Professional experience driving results across various aspects of marketing—content creation, email, paid media, SEO, etc. An unwavering steadiness and peacefulness rooted in the Catholic identity WHAT WE OFFER Competitive salaries ranging from $60k to $80k per year, depending on experience A one-of-a-kind work environment built by a close-knit team of men and women who share your passion and vision Premium healthcare and dental coverage (75% paid by the company) Paid time off for Holy Days of Obligation and other feasts such as Holy Thursday and Good Friday, in addition to holidays and personal vacation time A generous 401(K) plan with employer matching Flex-spending account (tax-free funds to put towards out-of-pocket medical expenses) “On the clock” prayer and Mass times in our on-site Chapel, where our Lord is present in the Holy Eucharist A pivotal position within a growing apostolate with opportunities to hone your craft and share your gifts in evolving ways as you continue your career with 5 Stones.
