This 260-bed acute care facility operates as a general level trauma center, maintaining the clinical infrastructure and established protocols necessary to support inpatient cardiovascular disease management on an on-site basis. The facility is structured to accommodate locum tenens clinicians providing call-based cardiovascular coverage, including 24-hour call and weekend responsibilities. Clinical resources are in place to facilitate effective care delivery throughout the November through April coverage period.

Nebraska offers clinicians on assignment a range of regional attractions and recreational opportunities suited to varied interests. The state features notable destinations such as the Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium, the Museum of American Speed, the Sunken Gardens, and Eugene T. Mahoney State Park, alongside opportunities to explore microbreweries, wineries, and corn mazes across the eastern and central parts of the state. Outdoor enthusiasts will find options for mountain biking, trout fishing, and horseback riding at state parks throughout the region, providing a well-rounded experience during time away from clinical responsibilities.

Clinicians will provide inpatient cardiovascular disease management at an on-site facility in Nebraska, with responsibilities limited to hospital coverage and no clinic duties. Clinical duties include inpatient rounding and consults, with transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) required as part of the assignment. General night call coverage is included, and rounding and consults on weekends are required. Board certification in Cardiovascular Diseases is negotiable for consideration.
