For more information, visit metalsa.com.Metalsa's Mission: To move the world more efficiently while protecting the environment and ensuring long-term economic and social value generation for our stakeholders.Metalsa's Vision: To become a leading mobility manufacturer of chassis and electrified solutions for the automotive, trucking, and off-highway industries.What Does a Day in the Life Look Like?Repair and maintain, stamping dies through welding, machining, grindingApply GD & T to components to solve dimensional issues during productionUnderstand all tooling stage operations to identify and correct quality and performances concerns.Implement engineering and customer changesPerform tooling repairs due to bad hits, double hits, and setup issuesExecute tooling changeovers to support different part productionSpot tools to ensure proper metal fitUse circle grid analysis to reduce material stretch and eliminate breakageMaintain tooling nitrogen systemsManage preventive maintenance schedules and spare parts inventory to reduce downtimeIdentify tool steels and perform heat treatment when requiredMaintain and troubleshoot die transfer systemsSupport blank feeders, unloaders, and power feedsUnderstand hydraulic and pneumatic systems for transfer grippersSafely operate powered tools, hand tools, forklifts, cranes, and moving equipmentMaintain, test and repair Die Protection systems with multiple type of sensors as laser, inductive and mechanical.What You Will Bring (Academic & Experience Requirements)Associate degree or Journeyman CertificationCandidates must complete onsite technical assessments in Trigonometry, Blueprint Reading, and Machine/Tool Equipment during the interview process, achieving a minimum score of 75%Minimum of 3- 5 years of journeyman as Tool & Die Maintenance and experience in cold stamping processMinimum of 3 years of experience on Class C Steel cold stamping (Desirable)Strong understanding of cold stamping processes (Progressive & Transfer)Knowledge of welding tool steels for repair (required)Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Lockout / Tagout trainingCompensation & Shift DetailsHourly Rate: $40.18/hour with Shift Differential for 2nd & 3rd shiftRelocation Bonus: Provided for candidates living 50+ miles from Hopkinsville, KYShifts Hiring: 2nd (2pm to 10pm) & 3rd (10pm to 6am)What is in it for YOU?
