OTR Flatbed CDL A Truck Driver

Job Description

The OTR Flatbed CDL A Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating company-owned trucks over extended multi-day trips. This role requires expertise in flatbed load securing, route navigation, and vehicle inspection to ensure cargo safety and compliance. As a solo driver, maintaining accurate logs and managing time efficiently are critical to success, with a focus on frequent home time and reliable support from the company.

Responsibilities

Perform long-haul driving using company-owned trucks
Secure flatbed loads following safety standards
Navigate routes effectively for extended multi-day trips
Conduct thorough vehicle and equipment inspections
Ensure cargo safety throughout transportation
Maintain accurate driving and compliance logs
Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules

Preferred Qualifications

Valid CDL Class A license
Strong understanding of CDL compliance regulations
Experience with flatbed load securing techniques
Skilled in route planning and navigation
Effective time management skills
Physical stamina for handling freight and extended driving
