ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients while demonstrating strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and health changes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Utilize advanced medical equipment and technology, including ventilators and vasoactive drips.

Schedule

This is a night shift position (7p-7a) with every other weekend required.

Qualifications

• Active Alabama or Multistate RN license without any prior NURSYS hits.
• Current certifications: ACLS and BLS.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
• Experience with vented patients and vasoactive drips is required.
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
