Travelling Airfield Electrician

Summary: - Performing routine inspections, troubleshooting faults, replacing bulbs, cleaning lenses, and repairing electrical components on airfield navigational aids. - Installing new airfield electrical systems, including wiring, control panels, and lighting fixtures, as well as upgrading existing systems with new technology. - Adhering to FAA regulations regarding airfield lighting standards, safety procedures, and documentation requirements. - Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to understand system layouts and troubleshoot issues. Requirements: - 3-5 years of experience as an Electrician on airfield projects/systems such as airfield lighting, runway/taxiway edge lights, signs, guidance signs, PAPI/VASI, etc (NOT on terminal electronics such as speakers, ceiling lights, fire alarms) - A valid driver"s license with own reliable transportation is required - Willingness and ability to travel to project location (anywhere in the U.S.) and to stay to work at the airfield for the lifeline duration of each project By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, Al-generated calls, text messages, or emails from Synerfac Technical Staffing and our contracted partners.
