Location: Ohio

Pay: $2,436.48 per week

Shifts: 6am-6pm, 9am-9pm, EOW, Holidays, call requirements per unit needs

Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled RN specializing in Post Anesthetic Care Unit (PACU) for a Travel assignment in Ohio. This vital role involves planning, providing, and directing patient care and teaching, utilizing the nursing process. The registered nurse acts as a liaison between physicians, patients, and families while collaborating with other healthcare members. Flexibility to float between PAA and PACU is required, depending on need.

Key Responsibilities of the RN PACU Post Anesthetic Care

Conduct a comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessment of patients according to established standards.
Participate in the establishment of a collaborative care plan based on assessment data.
Implement and evaluate the care plan based on identified patient goals and outcomes.
Modify the care plan based on reassessment of the patient's status.
Complete all documentation according to established standards.
Assess readiness to learn and implement individualized education plans as needed.
Actively participate in department initiatives and serve in project roles as required.
Provide age-appropriate care according to standards.
Perform functions according to established policies and professional standards.

Requirements of the RN PACU Post Anesthetic Care

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current license by the Ohio State Board of Nursing
CPR certification required
ACLS preferred
2 years of minimum nursing experience in specialty area preferred
