Job Description:
The Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for restoring patient function, reducing pain, and preventing disability through individualized treatment plans and evidence-based therapy interventions. The PT will provide high-quality patient-centered care in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, mobility training, and rehabilitation treatments
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and proper use of assistive devices
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Coordinate discharge planning and continuity of care with healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner EMR
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and clinical standards
• Supervise and guide therapy assistants and support staff when applicable
• Participate in professional development and team collaboration activities

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program required
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of practice required
• BLS/BCLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
• New graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply
• Experience in inpatient and/or outpatient rehabilitation preferred
• Strong communication, documentation, and patient care skills required
