Material Handler

Our client is headquartered out of Traverse City, MI and have been in business since 1995! This client is a division of Green Bay Packaging, and makes corrugated cardboard containers/boxes to hold and move manufacturing parts.

Material Handler Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $ 18.50 to $ 21.00 / hour
  • Full Time work available
  • Various shifts available (Monday through Friday)
  • Operate forklift or other equipment to load or move materials.
  • Supply production area with needed materials from inventory.
  • Band and stage products for shipping.
  • Load or unload material onto or from trailers, pallets, trays or shelves.
  • Process required paperwork.

Material Handler Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of receiving, warehouse, and material handling operations, methods, and practices.
  • Previous forklift experience required.
  • Computer skills required.
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
