The OTA supports patient progress by implementing treatment plans designed to improve independence, safety, and functional performance.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational TherapistProvide therapeutic interventions focused on ADLs, fine motor skills, coordination, strength, and functional mobilityObserve and report patient responses, progress, and changes in condition to the supervising OTEducate patients and caregivers on therapeutic activities, safety techniques, and use of adaptive equipmentComplete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)Maintain a safe and organized treatment environmentCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated patient careComply with all federal, state, and facility regulations, including HIPAAQualificationsGraduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant programCurrent Occupational Therapist Assistant license in good standing (state-specific)Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or home health preferred (new graduates welcome to apply)Strong clinical, communication, and time-management skillsAbility to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environmentWhy Join UsFlexible part-time scheduleSupportive leadership and collaborative care modelOpportunity to work across multiple care settingsMeaningful work making a direct impact on patient outcomesDiversity, Equity, and Inclusion are at the heart of Pivot.
