The mental health industry is full of barriers, and we are committed to finding innovative ways to break them down for the individuals, families, and communities we serve.What We OfferIndustry-leading compensation modelFlexible scheduling opportunitiesComfortable, fully furnished high-end officesAdministrative and billing supportClinical consultation and supervision opportunitiesOngoing professional development and trainingA culture rooted in creativity, humor, compassion, acceptance, determination, and authenticityAdditional benefits and perks based on employment statusResponsibilitiesConduct diagnostic assessments and establish appropriate diagnosesDevelop, implement, and regularly review individualized treatment plansProvide individual, family, couples, and/or group therapy services as appropriateComplete clinical documentation, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required records in accordance with company policy and professional standardsMaintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with licensing board requirementsCoordinate care with families, schools, medical providers, case managers, and other treatment team members as appropriateUtilize evidence-based and creative interventions to support client growth and achievement of treatment goalsParticipate in clinical staff meetings, trainings, consultations, and other required activitiesProvide exceptional customer service and contribute positively to the clinic cultureMaintain a minimum caseload of 25 client sessions per week for full-time statusAssist in community outreach and relationship-building efforts when appropriatePerform other duties that support our mission, clients, and team (and probably a few meaningful things we forgot to list!)Required Qualifications and SkillsVirginia licensure or license-eligible status in a behavioral health discipline (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, Resident in Counseling, Supervisee in Social Work, Resident in Marriage and Family Therapy, etc.)Experience completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other clinical documentationStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to establish, maintain, and model healthy professional boundaries with clientsAbility to complete documentation and administrative requirements accurately and in a timely mannerComfortable working with diverse populations and presenting concernsProficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience preferred)Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environmentCommitment to ethical practice, professional growth, and ongoing learningPreferred QualificationsFully licensed OR Pre-Licensed clinicians (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, Clinical Psychologist, etc.)Credentialed with major insurance panels or willing to become credentialedExperience working in an outpatient mental health settingExperience providing services across a variety of ages and clinical presentationsSpecialized training or certifications in evidence-based treatment modalitiesWhy Ellie?Because therapy matters.
