Seasonal Registered Nurse (RN) Pediatric Surgery

Job Description
The Registered Nurse, using critical thinking skills, coordinates and provides safe, quality care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Assists in organizing patient care activities as assigned.
Responsibilities
- Assesses physical, psychosocial, educational and growth and development needs of the patient.
- Develops a written plan of care using assessment data.
- Implements nursing care plan on assigned patients.
- Evaluates patient's response to interventions.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of Registered Nurse Program Experience: None License: REGISTERED NURSE Certification: BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN) ACLS, PALS (AMERICAN HEART ASSN) within 180 days of hire/transfer effective date ACLS (AMERICAN HEART ASSN)

About the Team
St. Marys Medical Center (SMMC), part of the Palm Beach Health Network, is a 420-bed acute care hospital in West Palm Beach. The hospital has been serving Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast for more than 80 years. SMMC is a Level 1 Trauma Center, a state-designated Pediatric Trauma Referral Center, certified Comprehensive Stoke Center, and has a level III NICU. Pediatric services are provided at the Palm Beach Childrens Hospital at St. Marys Medical Center, which is the only dedicated childrens hospital between Ft. Lauderdale and Orlando. Along with 24/7 dedicated pediatric emergency and trauma care, Palm Beach Childrens Hospitals medical staff consists of 196 pediatricians in 36 subspecialties. Join us!
