Bartender

Job Type: Variable – Base pay is $10 an hour with tips. Our top bartenders earn between $25 and $30 per hour, with a guaranteed minimum of $17.50 per hour. Responsibilities Set up the bar daily or during transition for the PM shift. Guide guests through menus while demonstrating a thorough knowledge of our items. Take accurate orders and work with other team members to serve food and beverages that exceed guest expectations. Check patrons’ identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consuming alcoholic beverages. Mixer alcoholic beverages and prepare coffee drinks such as lattes and signature drinks. Provide excellent customer service with a smile, including greeting guests within 90 seconds, checking in within 3 minutes, and closing service by collecting payment and creating an experience that keeps guests coming back. Assist in tasks to ensure a clean, sanitized, and safe restaurant, including washing dishes, glassware, wiping down surfaces on and behind the bar, and maintaining overall cleanliness and compliance with health and food service regulations. Answer phones to take reservations or to‑go orders, and greet, seat, and thank guests when needed. Take tables on the floor when bar service is slow or staffing is short. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol. Have general knowledge of alcohol. Have at least one year of bartending experience in a full‑service restaurant. Have weekend availability and be willing to work a minimum of three shifts per week. Love talking to people!
