Cosmetic Inspector

Vehicle Cosmetic Inspector Copart, Inc. is a technology leader and the premier online vehicle auction platform globally, with over 200 facilities worldwide. Responsibilities Travel required to DFW for training. Conduct thorough visual inspections of vehicles to identify and document cosmetic damages. Accurately record inspection findings using Copart's proprietary software systems. Capture high-quality photographs of vehicles, highlighting strengths and cosmetic imperfections. Maintain strict adherence to Copart's standards and guidelines for cosmetic inspections. Work closely with other team members, including Vehicle Inspectors, Auction Coordinators, and Customer Service Representatives, to facilitate seamless communication and support efficient auction operations. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and concerns related to vehicle condition and cosmetic discrepancies. Actively participate in training sessions and educational opportunities to enhance knowledge and proficiency. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in automotive technology or related field preferred. Previous experience in automotive detailing, bodywork, or cosmetic inspection strongly preferred. Proficiency in using digital photography equipment and basic computer skills required. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately assess and document cosmetic damages. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer‑focused mindset. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to collaborate as part of a dynamic team.
