Emergency Department NurseAnsible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting multiple Emergency Department Nurses to support the Chillicothe VA Medical Center located 17273 State Route 104 Chillicothe, OH 45601. Multiple shift schedules are available. To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers' success as if it is their own.ResponsibilitiesAccountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing and/or supervising direct patient careAssesses, plans, implements and evaluates care based on age-specific componentsAssumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient transition through the continuum of care, patient and family education, patient self-management after discharge, and supporting factors that impact customer satisfactionConsiders all characteristics of the individual, including age and life stages, state of health, race and culture, values, and previous experiencesAdministers medications and procedures per established policies and guidelinesInfluences care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary teamPoises and articulates in communicating with people of varied educational levels and varied ethnic backgroundsWorks cooperatively as a member of a team in all assignmentsParticipates in unit/program level quality improvement processes and initiatives as well as customer service programsQualificationsCompletion of an accredited Registered Nurse academic program BSN or ADN.Current Registered Nurse licensure in at least one state, territory, or commonwealth of the United States or the District of ColumbiaAmerican Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationAmerican Health Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificationAt least one (1) year of recent Emergency Room RN work experience is requiredNo sponsorship availableAll candidates must be able to: Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift. Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist. Lift up to 20 lbs. Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance.
