Veterinary Technician Supervisor

VCA PetMed Animal Hospital is growing and looking for a Veterinary Technician Supervisor to join our leadership team! As a Veterinary Assistant Supervisor, you will partner closely with our Medical Director and Hospital Manager to support daily hospital operations, mentor team members, and drive engagement and efficiency throughout the hospital. What You'll Do In addition to Veterinary Technician responsibilities, you will: Provide leadership, mentorship, and coaching to support staff Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and development of team members Conduct performance discussions and provide ongoing feedback Create and manage staff schedules Lead team meetings and facilitate effective communication Implement and uphold hospital policies and procedures Monitor daily workflow and staffing needs to support efficient operations Ensure accurate handling and documentation of controlled substances Partner with hospital leadership to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and team development Total Rewards As a VCA Associate, eligible full-time employees receive a comprehensive benefits package, including: Mental Health: Access to the Lyra mental health platform, including up to 12 therapy sessions per year, guided self-care, and meditation resources.
