Engineering Technician

Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated SLQ-32 PIT Engineering Technician. The Engineering Technician will support refurbishment, upgrade, and maintenance efforts for shelters associated with SLQ-32 radar systems within the Maritime Expeditionary Warfare Division at NSWC Crane. This role requires a mechanically inclined, highly motivated individual capable of working independently in a hands-on technical environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong problem-solving skills who can contribute to system readiness and equipment lifecycle sustainment. Key Responsibilities System set-up and teardown System level PIT testing PIT report generation (V)6 system integration with the (V)7 Support other PIT/Depot tasking as needed Requirements Must be a U.S Citizen Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance Must have, at minimum, 5 years of technician experience with the SLQ-32 radar system Solder Certification Fiber Optic Certification Ability to read drawings and wiring diagrams Bachelor's degree or higher, with ability to substitute military experience for education About TRISTAR TRISTAR is an SBA certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned professional services company supporting the U.S. Department of Defense programs.
