Registered Nurse - Pediatric Emergency Center
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma 74136 Duration: 13 weeks Shift/Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM7:00 AM; weekend and holiday requirements
Job Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process.
- Care for pediatric emergency patients according to hospital standards and unit policies.
- Individualize patient care plans based on clinical, cultural, psychosocial, and age-related factors.
- Perform appropriate nursing skills and prioritize care based on patient needs.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changing situations.
- Document assessments, interventions, outcomes, and nursing care accurately.
- Delegate tasks and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Facilitate patient and family education and discharge planning.
- Make timely referrals and collaborate with other disciplines.
- Participate in performance improvement and educational activities.
- Complete required variance reports and mandatory training/in-services.
Requirements:
- 06 months of related experience accepted.
- Epic experience required.
- Valid Oklahoma RN license or multistate RN license.
- BLS certification through AHA.
- PALS certification.
Preferences:
- Pediatric nursing experience.
- Previous Pediatric Emergency Center/ER experience.
