We are looking for an energetic, professional, and detail-oriented hybrid Front Desk Receptionist & Treatment Coordinator to join us.

Position Overview

This is a dual-functioning role designed for a dental professional who loves interacting with patients and excels at closing treatment plans. You will be the face and voice of our practice—greeting patients and managing the schedule—while also serving as our treatment expert, helping patients understand their dental benefits and guiding them to accept necessary care.

Key Responsibilities

• Front Desk Excellence: Warmly greet patients, answer phones, manage the appointment schedule, and optimize daily provider production.
• Treatment Coordination: Present comprehensive treatment plans to patients, clearly explaining clinical recommendations, insurance coverage, out-of-pocket costs, and payment options.
• Financial & Insurance Management: Verify dental insurance benefits, submit accurate claims, track pre-authorizations, and collect patient copays/balances at the time of service.
• Patient Follow-Up: Actively follow up on unscheduled treatment plans and overdue recall appointments to keep our schedule full.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working in a dental front office or as a dental assistant looking to transition to administration.
• Dental Knowledge: Strong understanding of dental terminology, CDT codes, and dental insurance verification processes.
• Software: Proficiency with Dentrix dental practice management software (Required).
• Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build trust and overcome patient financial objections.
• Mindset: A goal-oriented "people person" who thrives on organization, multitasking, and contributing to the practice's health and collections.

Schedule

• Monday to Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
