Job Summary
Operate and maintain liquid bulk and specialty gas/chemical delivery systems while performing equipment inspections, preventive maintenance, system monitoring, and hazardous waste handling. Ensure compliance with safety standards and support daily operations in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Job Description
• Maintain and operate liquid bulk and specialty gas/chemical delivery equipment
• Perform minor inspections and preventive maintenance on gas/chemical equipment
• Conduct daily rounds, including recording readings, completing safety inspections, monitoring online systems, and performing chemical tote/drum and gas cylinder change-outs
• Monitor and execute correct liquid bulk delivery and trailer transfer procedures
• Provide initial evaluations and obtain assistance for technical problem situations
• Serve as an active member of the Emergency Response Team
• Complete TGCM Tech 5 local OJT and qualification requirements within 12 months
• Participate in safety, training, and operations programs
• Support the training of TGCM contractors as needed
• Comply with all HS&E Standards (PPE, Forklift Operations, Lock Out/Tag Out, Confined Space Entry, etc.)
• Perform minor analytical and sampling procedures
• Oversee hazardous waste handling, including proper transfer, documentation, labeling and spill response procedures
Skills Required
• 1+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in semiconductors, chemical/specialty gas, military technical/electronic, or nuclear field (preffered)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Electro-mechanical aptitude and self-motivation to learn
• Ability to abide by stringent safety and quality rules
• Aptitude for problem-solving in emergencies or high-stress situations
The ideal candidate should possess:
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn new processes quickly
• A foundational understanding of warehouse functions
• A positive attitude and a high level of adaptability
Education/Training/Certifications
High School Diploma or GED
Additional Requirements
· Work Schedule:
o Day Shift, 6:30am - 6:30pm; exact days to be determined. But typically Mon to Fri, 8 hours/day for 1 week of onboarding
o Candidates must be available and willing to work both day and night shifts
· Physical Requirements:
o Ability to lift to 40 lbs.
o Ability to stand or walk for up to 11 hours per day
o Ability to operate a hydraulic foot pump for 55-gallon drums
o Capacity for constant bending and wearing a respirator as required
o Adherence to onsite face mask mandates
Pay Rate/Salary
• $21.00/hr. for day shift
• $24.00/hr night shift ($3 differential). Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors
