Teacher - Elementary

Description Roanoke Catholic School is seeking a full time elementary teacher to instruct lower school for the 26-27 school year and beyond. Candidates must have at least a four-year degree in elementary education or a similar field and must be able to obtain applicable licensure to instruct at the elementary level. Requirements Physical Demands/Environment: The teacher is expected to supervise students and the safe environment of the school and may involve work in classrooms, laboratories, computer labs, the library, and other parts of the facilities including the grounds. Working Conditions: This is a full time position, which is 40 hours per week during the school year. Travel time is sometimes required for field trips, diocesan meetings and other assigned responsibilities. A classroom and necessary books and supplies are provided by the school. Professional Qualifications: • Must be licensed and certified to teach your area of responsibility by the state of Virginia. Each teacher is responsible for maintaining and updating his/her own certification.
