Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Job Description Job Summary: TRAVEL - RN - Med/Surg (602) - HCA HealthONE Swedish - 7A - 7P is a Registered Nurse role in a Medical Surgical unit supporting post-operative burn and flap patients. The RN provides direct patient care, coordinates with the care team, and deliversevidence-based wound and dressing management in an acute care setting. Responsibilities: Deliver bedside nursing care for post-op burn and flap patients, including wound and dressing treatments. Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition using clinical judgment and established protocols. Administer medications and manage therapies, including PCA support when required. Operate and assist with patient care equipment such as Hoyer lifts, air taps, wound vacs, and EMR documentation. Perform or support ostomy and wound care activities in coordination with interdisciplinary teams. Maintain accurate, timely charting in Meditech EMR and ensure documentation meets clinical and regulatory standards. Qualifications: Hold an active Registered Nurse license required for practice. Possess a minimum of 1 year of acute care hospital Med/Surg experience. Maintain current BLS certification (Preferred). Obtain or be able to maintain ACLS certification (Preferred). Demonstrate experience or readiness for burn care and wound/ostomy care (Preferred). Communicate professionally and function as a collaborative team member in a high-acuity environment.
