Summary The Construction Team Supervisor plays a crucial role in leading and coordinating construction activities, ensuring that all projects are executed accurately and efficiently following project guidelines. Key Responsibilities Develop work schedules and assign tasks to optimize staffing for efficient project execution. Collaborate with team members and management to resolve any work‑related issues promptly. Monitor work progress to ensure it meets the required standards and address any discrepancies. Clearly communicate work orders to team members to ensure understanding and compliance. Inspect materials loaded or unloaded to verify that they match work order specifications. Report any issues encountered during loading and unloading to relevant personnel. Assess employee performance and provide constructive performance reviews. Perform hands‑on tasks alongside the team or take on specialized responsibilities as needed. Maintain accurate records and reports of essential information, including employee hours, earnings, daily receipts, and inspection results. Supervisory Duty Oversee a team of up to 10 employees, offering guidance, training, and feedback to enhance their performance. Requirements Adaptability to changing tasks and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced environment. Physical ability to stand or walk for extended periods and manage manual labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds. Capability to climb ladders and scaffolds and carry necessary tools and equipment. Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as required. Strong vision and hearing, either naturally or with correction. Skill in reading blueprints, documents, and manuals effectively. Proficient in writing routine reports. Excellent communication skills are necessary for this role. Education and Experience A high school diploma is preferred. A minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a related field. Certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Confined Space Entry are required.
