Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol in Jeanerette, LA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for personnel and visitors. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $14.20 / Hour Job Schedule Wed 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM Thur 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM Fri 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and other critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following site procedures and reporting requirements. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, production‑adjacent areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and shift documentation. Observe and report hazardous conditions, unusual activity, and equipment concerns to appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements At this site there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks. A guard card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
