Lead Application/System Sales Engineer - REMOTE

As a Lead Application/System Sales Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales by providing expert technical support and solutions to customers within the building management systems domain. By combining the deep domain expertise of our more than 50,000 employees with decades of data from our global installed base, we are uniquely positioned to lead the industrial sector’s transition from automation to autonomy.YOU MUST HAVEProven experience in application engineering within the building management systems industryStrong knowledge of Honeywell Building Management Systems (BMS) technologies and their applications in commercial buildings, with experience in communication protocols such as Lon, BACnet, Modbus, and FoxExperience with HVAC fundamentals, control theory and application development.Experience reading shop drawings and specifications.Strong background in PC Networking to include (TCP/IP, UDP, ARP, RSTP, DHCP, DNS, 802.1x, and Ethernet)Experience managing cloud-hosted SaaS applications Expertise in developing and presenting technical solutions that align with customer needs and sales objectivesExperience collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, engineering, and product managementAbility to travel domestic and international up to 25%WE VALUEBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field5+ years of experience in engineering or application engineering within the building automation or controls industryTridium Niagara TCP Certification and/or Alerton Certified Engineer Microsoft Azure Administrator certification or equivalent AWS/GCPStrong problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts into customer-friendly solutionsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple prioritiesKnowledge of market trends and competitive landscape in building management systemsThe annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is <$169,000 - $253,000> .
