Phlebotomist

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client's healthcare facility in Katonah, NY 10536.


Job Details:
Schedule: M-F 8:30am - 5:30 pm, rotational Saturdays at Mt. Kisco location 8:00am - 1:00pm
Location : Katonah, NY 10536.
Float : Yes, occasional travel to local draw stations if coverage is required (Mount Kisco, Yorktown Heights, & Briarcliff, NY)
Job Type: Local contract
Contract Length: 3 months (with possible extension or conversion).
Pay Range: $20 - $23/hr.
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.


Duties:

• Draw blood from pediatric through geriatric patient population.
• Process all lab specimens including verifying patient identifiers, barcoding, centrifuging, pouring off, accessioning, creating packing lists and packaging specimens to reference lab at correct temperatures.
• Follow all Phlebotomy SOP and OSHA Safety/PPE guidelines.

Requirements:

• Education: Highschool/GED or equivalent
• Certification(s): Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
• Years of experience: 6 months of phlebotomy experience is required.
