Grants Pass School District No. 7 is now accepting applications for the position of Courier for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is located in the Printshop with 3.75 hours per week over a 197-day calendar (August-June).

Qualifications:

1. Sort and load packages in order of destination and route.
2. The Courier receives and distributes a wide variety of goods, supplies, inter-district correspondence, and mail to and from buildings throughout the district as well as driving to and from the Boys and Girls Club, Josephine County Library, and/or other destinations as required.
3. Responsible for seeing that the vehicle driven is properly maintained and conduct regularly scheduled operational checks for safety.
4. Provides each building location with a schedule of pickup and delivery times.
5. Possess a current Oregon Operator's License by the State Department of Motor Vehicles.
6. Excellent driving record.
7. Other duties as assigned.
8. Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish preferred.

Upon selection, employees will be required to pay for the following: $12.50 fingerprinting fee and $75 ODE fingerprinting processing fee.

Compensation and Benefits:

• $16.77-$24.22 per hour. Dependent on approved accepted experience/education.
• Annual COLA pay increase (as negotiated with Oregon Association of Classified Employees).
• Annual step pay increase awarded to eligible employees.
• 6 paid holidays per year.
• 2 personal days per year.
• 10 paid sick leave days per year.
• Bereavement leave, as per bargaining agreement.
• Continuing Education Funds, up to $1,200 per year.
• Up to $1,624 per month district-paid contribution toward full-family medical, dental, and vision insurance. $4,534 per year insurance opt-out stipend for employees who demonstrate other health insurance coverage under a qualifying employer sponsored group medical plan (more than 6-hour employees), $4,080.60 (46-hour employees).
• 6% employee paid contribution towards Oregon Public Employees Retirement System.
• Longevity Service Stipend after 10 years of employment ($1,000-$1,600).
