Position Summary

Allegiance Staffing is seeking dependable and safety-minded General Warehouse Cleanup Associates to maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. This position is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations by cleaning work areas, disposing of waste materials, organizing supplies, and assisting with general housekeeping duties. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment.

Essential Job Duties

• Maintain cleanliness throughout the warehouse, production, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove dust and debris from work areas.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste according to company procedures.
• Clean restrooms, break rooms, offices, and other designated areas.
• Organize pallets, bins, and warehouse materials to maintain an orderly workspace.
• Remove cardboard, plastic wrap, and other packaging materials from production areas.
• Assist with spill cleanup while following all safety guidelines.
• Operate manual cleaning equipment and basic powered cleaning equipment when trained.
• Support warehouse personnel with general housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Report safety hazards, damaged equipment, or maintenance concerns to management.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, janitorial, or industrial cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently bend, squat, kneel, reach, and twist.
• Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, dust, and noise.
• Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to forklifts, pallet jacks, moving machinery, and production equipment.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required based on business needs.
