As a Medical Assistant, you will be directly involved in our Perfect Patient Journey, ensuring that we deliver patient-focused care at all times. We are looking for individuals who learn quickly, are capable of working independently as well as part of a team and have a positive attitude. Duties/Responsibilities Demonstrate kindness and compassion in all patient interactions Help patients by providing information, services, and assistance Verify patient information by interviewing patient; recording medical history; confirming purpose of visit Assist physicians with in-office procedures Triage and room patients in an efficient manner to maximize clinical-flow Prepare patients, room, and supplies for visit or examination Send prescriptions electronically to pharmacy Making sure all exam rooms are well stocked & organized Assisting with ordering supplies Sterilization, sanitization & logs Room prep & tear down Assisting physicians as needed during clinic Calling patients to go over results or answer questions on behalf of the physician Filing patient documents & alerting physician of new patient results Order imaging and lab tests This job requires on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely. Qualifications Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Preferred experience in Otolaryngology. Preferred CMA or RMA certification. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. At least three years’ related medical assistant experience required. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times. #J-18808-Ljbffr
