Demand PlannerLHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a well-established organization in the Philadelphia area to identify a Demand Planner for a 6–9 month contract assignment. This position is covering a medical leave and offers the opportunity to step into a high-impact role supporting forecasting and supply chain operations.The Demand Planner will play a key role in aligning demand forecasts with business needs, supporting inventory optimization, and partnering cross-functionally to drive data-driven decision-making.Demand Planner Location: Philadelphia, PA (19112) Job Type: Contract (6–9 months) Compensation: $46–$55/hour (based on experience)Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain demand forecasts using historical data, trends, and business inputsAnalyze forecast accuracy and identify risks and opportunities impacting demandPartner with supply chain, operations, procurement, and sales teams to align planning strategiesMonitor inventory levels and demand trends to reduce stockouts and excess inventoryEvaluate sales performance, seasonality, and customer behavior to inform planning decisionsGenerate reporting and dashboards related to forecast performance and inventory metricsParticipate in weekly/monthly planning cycles and forecast review meetingsIdentify process improvements within demand planning and forecasting workflowsProvide ad hoc reporting and analytical support as neededQualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field preferred3+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analyticsStrong understanding of forecasting methods and inventory managementAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)Experience with ERP or demand planning systemsStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate insights clearlyPreferred ExperienceExperience in manufacturing, distribution, consumer goods, or healthcare environmentsFamiliarity with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar systemsExperience supporting S&OP or integrated planning processesAssignment DetailsContract Length: 6–9 monthsCoverage: Medical leaveLocation: Philadelphia, PA (19112)Compensation: $46–$55/hour, depending on experienceBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
