Landscape Maintenance Driver

Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport equipment and crew members to various job sites
- Mow, edge, trim, and maintain turf areas in parks, medians, and municipal properties
- Operate hand tools and power equipment such as string trimmers, hedge trimmers, blowers, chain saws, and zero-turn mowers
- Remove litter, debris, and fallen limbs from public grounds
- Load, unload, and transport landscaping equipment and materials
- Assist with storm cleanup and emergency response efforts, including hurricane preparation and debris removal
- Follow all safety procedures in accordance with city, county, and OSHA guidelines
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support grounds maintenance operations
Qualifications
- Valid Florida driver’s license - REQUIRED
- Bilingual (Preferred)
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
- Ability to work outdoors in hot, humid, and rainy weather conditions typical of Central Florida
- Ability to lift up to 50–75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or manual labor preferred but not required
- Must pass background screening and drug test in accordance with municipal hiring policies
Compensation
$18 - $22 per hour dependent on experience
