Count Room Floor Manager

Job Responsibilities Supervise, lead and direct drop and count room activities, ensuring regulatory compliance with all gaming regulations, internal controls, and company and department policies and procedures. Supervise the subordinate Count Room Coordinator, handling hiring, training, work assignment, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions. Ensure employees are trained to work safely and efficiently within current regulatory guidelines. Evaluate shift schedules and adjust, if necessary, to meet Resorts World operational and departmental needs. Prepare, maintain, and submit essential paperwork and reports. Oversee all Count Operations functions on any assigned shift. Maintain logs and other required documentation, including drop reports, maintenance records, attendance reports, and associate incident documentation. Monitor and maintain all equipment and tables used in count room operations. Collaborate with Count Room Operations Management to ensure efficient and accurate department operations and correct any noted deficiencies. Use equipment safely and efficiently, including but not limited to currency sorting machines, calculators, and carts. Attend periodic meetings and training sessions. Demonstrate outstanding customer and employee relations at all times. Present oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times. Perform other duties as assigned. License Level This is a key license position. Job Requirements Age 18 or older, high school diploma or equivalent. Ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to applicable statutes, rules, and regulations. Bachelor’s degree or higher not required; however, an Associate’s Degree in Business or a closely related field is preferred. Two (2) years of supervisory experience in a comparable role, or two (2) years of management experience in the hiring department. Five (5) years of related work experience in a money handling setting required. Three (3) years of related experience in a casino count room setting preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of state gaming regulations pertaining to casino operations. Physical ability to lift or maneuver at least fifty (50) pounds. Proficiency in reading, analyzing, and interpreting policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and related documents. Fluency in English required; second language a plus. Strong written communication skills for detailed instructions and correspondence. Effective presentation skills in one-on-one and group settings. Basic mathematical calculation ability. Ability to decipher and maintain various reports upon request. Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality. Capacity to work varying schedules to reflect business needs. Physical and Mental Demands The employee is regularly required to talk and hear, stand, walk, sit, use hands for handling or controlling objects or tools, reach with hands and arms, sit, climb or balance, and stoop, stretch, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl. Variations in vision such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus may be required. Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents; respond to common inquiries; write detailed instructions and correspondence; and effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations. Mathematical Skills & Reasoning Ability Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations and decipher various reports. Work Environment The work environment is typically moderate in noise; in back-of-house areas, noise may be loud. Interaction with internal and external guests must be professional. Work may occur on the property or in back-of-house areas.
